Billy L. Matthews, 59, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in Granbury.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Wiley Funeral Home Chapel.

Billy was born April 21, 1950, in Alvarado to Billy Fred and Dorothy Lou Crawford Matthews. He was the owner/operator of Corrosion Systems. He graduated from Alvarado High School in 1968 and the University of Houston with a B.A. in communications in 1973. He was currently delivering Meals On Wheels for the Senior Service Center in Granbury. His second wife, Debbie, passed away in 1998 from cancer.
Survivors: Wife, Lori Matthews of Granbury; daughters, Jennifer Miller of Granbury and Karen Langridge and husband, Jason, of Spring; grandchildren, Rebecca Miller, Tiffany Matthews, Noah Daniel Langridge and Madeline Grace Langridge; stepdaughters, Shannon Dickey of Minnapolis, Minn., Nicole Buckley of Dallas and Jamie Smith and husband, Matt, of Fort Worth; numerous stepgrandchildren; mother, Dorothy Matthews of Granbury; sisters, Doris Blackwell and husband, Roy, of Granbury, Donna Matthews and husband, Travis, of deCordova, Beverly Hall and husband, Larry, of Granbury and Brittany Antley and husband, Josh, of Tyler; first wife, Sandy Matthews of Sugar Land; his special friend and favorite dog, Rosie; and many numerous special friends.
